🍽️ Endo Kazutoshi Announces Intimate New Chelsea Restaurant and Listening Bar
One of London's most celebrated sushi chefs, Endo Kazutoshi, is set to begin an exciting new chapter this October with the launch of ENDO, an intimate new omakase restaurant, alongside Moga, a Japanese-inspired listening bar, in the heart of Chelsea.
Taking over the former home of Michelin-starred restaurant The Five Fields, ENDO will offer an exclusive 10-seat omakase experience, where each evening's multi-course menu is crafted entirely at the chef's discretion. Showcasing locally sourced fish alongside premium nori, rice, wasabi and soy sauce specially prepared and imported from Japan, the restaurant promises a deeply personal expression of Japanese craftsmanship and seasonality.
The thoughtfully designed space pays homage to Tokyo's traditional sushi counters of the 1920s and 1930s, centred around a bespoke 200-year-old hinoki wood counter sourced from Kyoto. The project has been developed in collaboration with long-time designer Javier Villar, creating an intimate setting that reflects Endo's heritage and meticulous attention to detail.
Above the restaurant, Moga will offer a sophisticated Japanese listening bar experience, serving tea-inspired cocktails developed in partnership with Postcard Teas. Initially reserved for restaurant guests, the bar will open to the public from December, adding another distinctive destination to Chelsea's dining scene.
The opening marks Endo Kazutoshi's latest venture following the temporary closure of Endo at the Rotunda after last year's fire. While his acclaimed White City restaurant remains closed for now, ENDO is expected to become one of London's most sought-after restaurant openings this autumn, offering an intimate dining experience rooted in tradition, craftsmanship and exceptional hospitality.
