🍽️ New Dining in London This October

🍽️ Endo
📍 8–9 Blacklands Terrace, London SW3 2SP
🗓️ Endo opens on 1st October 2026
Sushi master Endo Kazutoshi returns with a 10-seat omakase restaurant in the former Five Fields townhouse. There's no menu, so guests dine at the chef's whim from a 200-year-old hinoki counter shipped from Kyoto. Upstairs, a listening bar called Moga will serve tea-inspired cocktails from December. Bookings are already full until the end of October, so this is one to plan ahead for.

🍽️ Cloth Cornhill
📍 38½ Cornhill, London EC3V 9DR
🗓️ Cloth Cornhill opens on 1st October 2026 After four years closed, the 18th-century Simpson's Tavern is coming back to life under the team behind Farringdon's Cloth. Chef Tom Hurst brings his produce-led modern British cooking to two upstairs dining rooms and an eight-seat bar. Downstairs, the standing-room-only Amy's Bar spills out into Ball Court. Expect the wine-fuelled lunches and dinners the old tavern was famous for.

🍽️ Clementine
📍 190 New North Road, London N1 7AA
🗓️ Clementine opens on 3rd October 2026
Anna Higham, the baker behind Quince, is opening a 20-cover café directly opposite her much-loved bakery. The menu is seasonal and very British, from tattie scones with scrambled eggs to ploughman's, brown butter buns and cheese toasties. Tea comes from Postcard Teas, including a blend made just for Clementine. It's open Wednesday to Sunday, and a lovely choice for a slow brunch.

🍽️ Prince Arthur
📍 96 Draycott Avenue, London SW3 3AD
🗓️ Prince Arthur opens on 6th October 2026
The Basque-inspired favourite has left its Belgravia pub behind for a two-floor restaurant and bar in Chelsea. Downstairs seats 79 around a central fire that echoes the wood-fired grill, with a seafood counter and in-house caviar. Signatures like sea urchins, txuleta, whole turbot and lobster rice all make the move too. Upstairs, the Chelsea Music Bar takes its cue from Tokyo's late-night listening bars.

🍽️ Cordelia's
📍 6 Clarges Street, London W1J 8AE
🗓️ Cordelia's opens on 14th October 2026
This live-fire steakhouse takes over the old L'Atelier Robuchon site in Mayfair. Head chef Jordi Sebastianelli leads the kitchen, which serves British beef dry-aged in-house alongside Galician, Finnish and Parmesan-fed Italian cuts. The 80-cover room has a veined marble bar, an oxblood ceiling and antique mirrors, with a tequila and agave cocktail list to match. After a few schedule shifts, doors finally open in October, with DJs and live music later in the evening.

🍽️ Alto 19
📍 Level 19, Locke London Canary Wharf, 2 Cartier Circus, London E14 5HF
🗓️ Alto 19 opens on 15th October 2026
This 100-cover rooftop restaurant, bar and lounge comes from White Rabbit Projects, the group behind Lina Stores and Kricket. Chef Chris Dargavel, previously at Daphne's, leads a modern Mediterranean menu. Windows wrap the whole room for skyline views, and DJs take over as after-work drinks slide into the evening.

🍽️ Juno
📍 National Hall, 50 Hammersmith Road, London W14 8UD
🗓️ Juno opens on 16th October 2026
Set in Olympia's Grade II-listed National Hall, Juno is billed as the UK's largest Italian restaurant. It seats 265 diners and holds 500 in total, with big tables, flowing wine and food made for sharing. Expect crab linguine, osso buco alla Milanese and a ten-seat pizza counter, plus an in-house Italian band and resident DJs. It's open daily from midday to 11pm.

From intimate omakase counters and live-fire steakhouses to grand Italian restaurants and rooftop destinations, October is bringing an exciting mix of new openings to London. With some of the city’s most anticipated restaurants opening their doors this month, there are plenty of new tables, flavours and experiences to discover — and a few that are worth booking well in advance.
